Little Paws Pet Resort
1314 Gordon Rd.
Catering to your pet’s boarding, daycare, grooming, and training needs is our local Little Paws Pet Resort here in our Yakima community. Their boarding facility features 3,500 square feet of indoor space separated into three play areas to accommodate the various temperaments and sizes of the pooches they take care of while their owners are away. When it’s time for outdoor fun, their play yard is 2,500 square feet of green grass waiting for these pampered pooches, complete with a shade tree and an eight-foot solid wood fence. There’s even a kitty condo for those cat parents going away on vacation and needing a safe place for Fluffy to stay. Of course, you don’t have to go on vacation to drop off your pet! Their daycare services are more than accommodating for those parents who might be heading out for a long shift and need someone to be there for their pets. While your precious companions enjoy their stay at the resort, they can also be signed up for grooming or training services so that Fido has a new coat and a new trick when you pick him up from doggy daycare!

Randall Dog Park
1401 S. 48th Ave.
For outdoor fun with your beloved pup, consider taking them to Randall Dog Park in Yakima to stretch their four legs and yours two (pun intended). This park was actually the first dog park built in our fair city, with its beautiful adventure-filled gates opening in 2014. The park is on a 1.6-acre section of Randall Park south of Wide Hollow Creek. Those who volunteered for the creation of the park were very passionate about the project, making sure there were plenty of accommodations for Yakima’s canines, such as ensuring there was a shade structure and drinking fountain for all the doggos.
With so many fun things for our pets to do in our beloved Yakima community, what are you waiting for?! Help your doggo scratch that itch that comes with being cooped up all winter, and take them to any of these fun, pet-friendly places in our Yakima community!
