Do you see your dream wedding taking place in the beautiful outdoors? Celebrate at one of Yakima’s beautiful parks. Through the Yakima Parks and Recreation website, you can reserve a park shelter, such as the Rotary Pavilion at Franklin Park. If you want to reserve the space for a full day and have up to 50 guests in mind, it could be the perfect spot for just $85 ($120 non-resident).

If you plan to have more than 300 or more guests, you need to talk to the Parks and Rec office. As a local, you may know how beautiful Franklin Park is. People are usually seen taking pictures here because of its beautiful green hills and tall trees. Imagine what your wedding photos will look like in that gorgeous fall light. With this package, you can have your ceremony near the Rose Garden. Imagine the sweet scent of rose wafting through the air as you say your “I do’s” to the one you love.

As the ceremony ends, your guests can join the newly married couple in the Atrium and Founders Courtyard. This package also includes using the Arboretum’s tables and chairs, and it is all for only $3,295. You may find their rental brochure here, along with other package information.

Nestled along the Naches hills, The American Homestead is a sight you must see to believe. With only one entrance and exit to the grounds, your family and friends can privately enjoy peace and quiet without the hustle and bustle of the city. You could turn your wedding day into a wedding weekend by reserving the cabin and bunkhouse as part of the package at this gorgeous site.

The Forgey family, owners of The American Homestead, are very hands-on when it comes to wedding planning and coordination so that the guests enjoy their moment without worry. This family-owned and run business will be celebrating its 22nd anniversary this year. When asked their reason for starting this business, Kathy Forgey said, “We were blessed with a beautiful place to live and just wanted to share it with people and pass on our family legacy.” The stress of organizing a big wedding alone can be taken off your shoulders while you enjoy the cabin/bunkhouse or go fishing along the Naches River with your wedding party for $6,500.

These are only a few of the locations available to you for the big day. Take a drive out to these locations and see if it feels right for you and your partner or reach out to the place you are interested in and ask any questions that may help put your mind at ease during the wedding planning. It’s the person across from you at the altar that makes the moment so that the dream wedding can happen no matter the circumstance.
