This season we will all be able to enjoy the outstanding local productions of “Clue: On Stage,” “Little Women: The Broadway Musical,” “The Savannah Sipping Society,” and “Little Shop of Horrors.” This lineup includes two musicals and two straight plays to keep the theatergoers entertained. Whether you are new to the world of live performance or a regular attendee, every one of these productions will delight.

The first, “Clue: On Stage,” is based on the classic Hasbro board game and the 1985 Paramount movie. Join some intriguing characters at Boddy Manor for a dinner party that is to die for. Someone is murdered, but who is the killer? It is up to these unsuspecting dinner guests to solve the mystery before they too are attacked. This show will run from September 17 to October 2.

This Thanksgiving, join the March sisters in this coming-of-age musical. Running from November 25 to December 11, come laugh, cry and fall in love with Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy in this classic tale of sisterhood and womanhood. Auditions for “Little Women: The Broadway Musical” will be held on October 3, and more information will be available on their website at a later date.

Toast the new year with the ladies of “The Savannah Sipping Society,” running from February 11 to 26. This comedy follows four middle-aged women as they discover new friendships and a new lease on life. These strong southern women will have you laughing in your seat as they come together and learn “that life is better when you have someone to talk with, laugh with and share a glass with every now and then.”

Watch out for “Audrey II” when you visit the “Little Shop of Horrors,” May 5 to 21. When Seymour Krelborn, a floral assistant, encounters a talking, singing, and carnivorous new plant breed that promises him fame and fortune, will he be willing to pay the price? This Broadway musical and 1986 sci-fi smash hit will surely grow on you.
