Picking your own berries at a local farm is a fun and delicious way to spend a summer day, but if your freezer is full of the latest harvest, Yakima Valley has several flower farms with a wide variety of blooms to choose from. Visit one of these local U-pick flower farms for a fresh bouquet to brighten your day or stop by multiple on the same day for the ultimate floral harvest.

Stemmed Farm
Central Yakima – By Appointment
Stemmed Farm, located in central Yakima and featuring a picturesque cottage surrounded by flower fields, is run by a “small but mighty team of gardeners” that spans three generations, with the youngest member of the team just out of toddlerhood who spends “most days… happily covered in dirt and learning right alongside us.” Stemmed Farm offers u-pick bouquets by appointment, or hand-arranged finished bouquets for pickup anytime at the farm stand.
Photography sessions can be scheduled as well, or for the most immersive floral experience, book a stay at the Stemmed Cottage for “a peaceful farm stay on our micro flower farm—an inviting place to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the rhythms of farm life.”

Floyd Farm
3151 Brickmill Road, Ellensburg
A short– but scenic– drive out of the valley through Yakima Canyon brings you to Ellensburg, where Floyd Farm is waiting with a self-guided u-pick flower farm for visitors and locals alike. On special occasions, like Mother’s Day or graduation weekend, curated bouquets are available for pickup at the farm stand, but during the rest of the season visitors are welcome to stop by and fill one of the provided containers with blooms of their choice from the variety of colorful and seasonal options in the field.
Later in the summer, a limited selection of raspberries and blueberries is available for picking as well, and as the fall approaches, pumpkins are set out at the farm stand for purchase as the perfect addition to a tablescape or centerpiece.

Selah Ridge Lavender Farm
330 Rankin Road, Selah
Immerse yourself in local lavender at the Selah Ridge Lavender Farm, which grows over ten varieties of lavender for u-pick bouquets and a plethora of handcrafted skincare items alike. The farmers at Selah Ridge “distill our lavender and use the essential oil and the hydrosol in the making of our products.” Visitors can find soaps, body butters, lotions, oils, hair care products, candles, and more available for purchase online, or schedule an appointment to pick your own lavender throughout the season.
Lavender Harvest Days will open the fields for the most variety of harvest mid-July, so keep an eye on the website or sign up for the Selah Ridge Lavender Farm email list (available on the farm website) for the most up-to-date information on hours and availability for Harvest Days.

Louloudia Gardens
Central Yakima – Delivery Only
While Louloudia Gardens does not currently offer u-pick options, their floral delivery and subscription offerings are the perfect splurge or gift to brighten up the home. The growing season lasts from April through October, so there’s plenty of time to swing by the farm stand and pick up a prepared bouquet or join the Bloom Club for a weekly floral delivery featuring the best seasonal blossoms in a beautifully curated arrangement. “Spreading love and happiness through flowers is our mission,” Louloudia’s owner Natalie shares.

Wyld Heather Farm
7709 Westbrook Avenue, Yakima
Wyld Heather Farm, a central Washington specialty cut flower farm, also offers a floral delivery and subscription service that runs the entire length of the season, April through October. Wyld Heather Farm partners with florists and floral vendors to provide the best Yakima Valley blooms for special occasions, no matter the event.
